Hey everybody. Couple of quick nuggets for you. Yes, nuggets. That’s how I’m doling it out today. If you prefer “morsels,” well, tough. We’re not doing it that way. You don’t like it, you can lump it, and take it down the road and dump it.

Sorry, this election has me all confrontational. (Seriously, we need this thing to be over, or I’ll never sleep properly again.)

JEFF MAC & MANSLATIONS TO BE FEATURED IN…A COUPLE OF MAGAZINES!

Yes, that’s right. My new book, cunningly entitled “Manslations,” will be featured in the February issue of Shape Magazine. (And just fyi, the magazine isn’t about what you think it’s about. When they interviewed me, they didn’t ask, like, ANYthing about triangles or rhomboids or anything. Go figure.)

I also understand that it will, in some way, be featured in Penthouse magazine. Seriously. As a friend of mine suggested, you can buy both, and hold the Shape in front of the Penthouse, if you’re squeamish. I am.

I’ll post info here when I know more.

That’s where we’re at, people. Mass media. Oh yeah. Moving on.

People, people, you have been sending your pals to me. My traffic meter whispered a little something in my ear that October has been (by a lot) the biggest traffic month yet. Know what I want? You guessed it:

Cue the Rocky theme, I’m going to dust off my outdoor voice and perform LIVE on Election night at a show called Exit Poll (all details here.) It’s not going to be so much a “show” as a “politically obnoxious event.” I and several of my pals will be heckling the incoming election results for drunk people. If you’re in the NYC area, stop by and say hello! (Warning: If you are in any way right wing, er, you might want to skip this one. I’m not Nostradamus or anything, but if you go see a show on the Lower East Side of Manhattan on election night, uh, it might just be a WEEEEENSY bit liberal.)

EDITED TO ADD: I was just asked which way I’m leaning by a reader who wasn’t sure. There’s no leaning about it. I’m as left as left can be. (For you non-Americans out there for whom Left & Right aren’t indicators, I’m for Obama.) Of course, in New York State, our electors are always bright democrat blue. But no matter where you live or who you’re voting for — be they democrat or maverick — get out there and vote, people. Democracy is totally hot.
