Well, the day is finally upon us. The day to pick the people who will succeed President George W. Bush.

(Manslator’s Note: I apologize if anyone was confused or offended by my use of our current president’s name in the same sentence as the word “succeed.” I promise, it was pure coincidence, and it will very likely never happen again.)

Everybody, if you haven’t done so already, please don’t forget to vote. I don’t normally put politics into my website, because I think that relationships are for everybody. Even for plumbers and the mavericks who love them.

Oh, I kid the mavericks.

Ok, so I’m a bleeding heart, east-coast elite, liberal leftie from New York City. What can I tell you? (I was raised by Republicans, I had no choice.)

Seriously, everybody vote, no matter who you’re voting for. And if you’re still “undecided,” I hope that you will consider my little mnemonic device whilst making your choice…

Seriously, people. Vote. That’s what makes us Americans. Well, that and all-you-can-eat-buffets. Make those voices heard, no matter who you vote for. (Unless you’re voting for Nader. That’s not funny this time, ok, people?)

And remember, tonight I’m-a be co-heckling the election results late this evening at EXIT POLL ’08 until either a winner is chosen, or I have a panic attack. Whichever comes first. Here are the details:
