So, what is Manslations all about, in a nutshell?
I, Jeff Mac, answered questions from women for years, trying to help women learn how to understand men because honestly, it just shouldn’t be that hard. And if you want authority, well, I pretty much wrote a whole book about it, don’t you know. (In bookstores NOW, if you must pry!)
When you start reading all the archives (or the book), you’ll be surprised at how surprised you are. Even men will be surprised. If your dog reads this stuff, even HE will be surprised. Or she. Now, I probably won’t be surprised because, I mean, I wrote the thing. Then again, I made a lot of this stuff up, so who knows? Either way, trust me — it’s all pretty shocking.
It’s like one of those TV specials where masked magicians reveal how magic tricks are done. Except the “magic tricks” will be boneheaded things that men do/say/think. Oh, and unlike those shows, this will actually be entertaining for you. And useful. And the humor will be intentional. And it won’t involve any of us having to deal with magicians. (You’re welcome.) That’s, like, ten ways that this is better than those magic show things. And that’s just off the top of my head.
Now, how can you claim to be able to interpret all male behavior? Aren’t all men different?
Of course we are, but it’s not necessary to go to a lot of trouble to “interpret” male behavior at all. It would be like putting out an elegant place setting with fine china and eleven forks to eat a donut.

Hey Jeff! The latest post is partial (asking questions/but won’t answer)…I can’t see your reply…unless you are leaving it to us to draw our own Manslation conclusions? Won’t that put you out of work and create chaos for all us chicks? Or is this an exam?

I just read your book, “Manslations”, and the only complaint I have is that you didn’t publish it 20 years ago. You would have spared me much heartache, grief, and overthinking! I totally get it now, and am forever grateful. Good luck to you and everything you do.

I read an extract from your book “Manslations” and had a little moment. About two minutes later I bought the whole thing and I’m so excited to read it and tell everyone I know about it. Thank you for writing down everything my partner can’t put in to words. I used to think I was really good at understanding men and I thought I was a pretty good girlfriend but I was only looking at half of the picture. Now I actually know where I go wrong. Thanks so much keep up the good work.

I am half way through your book now and it is hilarious. I can’t read it in public because people look at you funny when your cracking up laughing by yourself.
Some parts to me are so obvious but then you read things and have an OMG moment because you realise you do that!
I have read parts to my partner who thought I was an idiot for buying a self help book but after hearing how you write and the infomation you give he asked if I could PLEASE give a copy to his sister and mum.

Hi Jeff,
I don’t know if you still read these but I thought it was worth a try. I just finished reading your book and first of all I wanted to say thanks, and even though it really helped me understand men better, I have a problem that seems way more complex than the ones in your book and the archives and I really wished you could help me… But obviously you are not doing any manslations anymore so that’s too bad. Anyway, thanks for all your help and hopefully I will be able to fix things by myself. Wish me luck.
