Who is this Jeff Mac?

So, you’re nosy and want to know who wrote the book, do you?

Sorry, sorry. That came off defensive. And I don’t want to be that way. It does a disservice to both of us. (I’m sitting here with a raccoon.)

Ok. Here’s what you need to know.

Well, first of all, obviously, I’m a writer. I’ve written a book called Manslations: Decoding the Secret Language of Men. That’s kinda what this whole site is about. You can read all about it here.

I also used to be a stand up comic. Here are a few videos of me doing stand up on Comedy Central‘s website. You might even have seen me on season one of their stand up showcase, “Live at Gotham.” (Especially if you were looking at your television while that show was on. You could hardly miss me!)

You might also have heard my voice in TV and radio commercials. I’ve been a roller skating donut, a roll of paper towels, and a package of toilet paper. Seriously. And that’s just a few of the inanimate objects to which I have given voice. Shh, shh, don’t cry*. There’s no need to be jealous like that.

*If you are actually crying, you should probably talk to somebody. That’s not normal.
